G-Team

Ages: Grades 7-12

The G Team offers a highly intense, safe, and structured environment for riders of all abilities to excel in their desired snowboard venues, including freeriding, freestyle and alpine.

Within G Team, riders have the option to participate in G Team Development or G Team Competition.  G Team Development is geared towards the recreational rider and G Team Competition is geared towards the competitor or rider who would like to pursue competition.
Athletes are evaluated and put into groups based on ability, age, and goals. Our elite coaching staff will work closely with each athlete to set individual goals in order to maximize their potential for success, with an athlete to coach ratio maintained at approximately 8:1 or less.
G Team riders have the option to train up to four times per week, plus scheduled Saturdays, depending on their program.
Training begins on September 20 with our dryland training program at Hyland. On-snow training will follow dryland in November or December, snow permitting.


G Team Juniors

Ages: Grades  6 & under



The G Team Juniors offers a highly intense, safe, and structured environment for riders of all abilities to excel in their desired snowboard venues, including freeriding, freestyle and alpine.

Within Juniors, riders have the option to participate in Junior Development or Junior Competition.  Junior Development is geared towards the recreational rider and Junior Competition is geared towards the competitor or rider who would like to pursue competition.

G "FUN" Team
Age: Grades 6th and under



Division Description…G "Fun" team offers children in grades 6th and under an opportunity to participate on our team with a minimal commitment!  G "Fun" team is designed for all skill levels, from first-time to advanced riders!  G “Fun” Team will begin with a pre-season training day in October followed by practice in December!

All G "Fun" team riders will focus on on-hill safety, basic to advanced fundamentals, and lots of "fun" while improving their level of snowboarding.  Beginner “Fun” riders will begin on flat snow surfaces and on the “bunny hill” (beginner terrain) to learn how to skate, link turns, use the tow rope, and how to stop.  Advanced beginner “Fun” riders will learn how to use the chairlift, improve their turns, and more.  Intermediate “Fun” riders will learn to carve, ride switch, and ride the mini freestyle park.  Advanced “Fun” riders will learn how to improve their freeriding, “park riding,” and “alpine riding.”

G "Fun" Team meets for 10 scheduled practices throughout the year with the following options*:

Tuesdays 5-7:30pm
Thursdays 5-7:30pm
Saturdays 9am-11:30am,
Saturdays 12-2:30pm,
Sundays 1-3:30pm

*G "Fun" Team Elm Creek is only offered on Tuesdays

Ability
Age: Grades 7 & higher
All disciplines of snowboarding, including freeriding, freestyle and alpine.  

“Ability” is a program geared towards the aspiring “Pro Snowboarder” and National level competitor.  Riders will have the opportunity to participate in National and International competitions.  

Riders will also receive assistance with sponsorship and media exposure.      

Riders must qualify, contact the team for requirements.  Ability is only be offered at Hyland.

G-Masters
Age: Adult

All diciplines of snowboarding, including freestyle and alpine.


Snowboard Training Program for Adults who want to rip it, kick it, or carve it.  Masters is only being offered at Hyland.

Alpine
Age: All ages who show proficiency in controlled
turns & desire to go fast
The Alpine division trains on both the Slalom & Giant Slalom practice courses.

Training focuses on proper race technique, form,
edging skills, and repetition to building confidence and speed on the race course.  

Alpine is only being offered at Alpine.
